All of the staff at Dr. Kao’s Pediatric Dentistry is well-trained, polite, and eager to make your child’s dental experience fun and pleasurable. Their main focus is dentistry for kids that provide comfort and successful preventative oral care. From basic check-ups to dental emergencies, the staff works together to give you the best quality service.

Dr. Juei Kao
Dr. Juei Kao, Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is originally from Taiwan, grew up in Southern California, and now resides in the Bay Area. After graduating Cum Laude in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Kao completed his dental degree at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He received his pediatric dental training and certification at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is currently an Associate Professor at UCSF, and a board certified specialist. Dr. Kao is very gentle and soft-spoken with his pediatric patients and strives to provide them and their family’s different techniques and up-to-date methods to cultivate exceptional dental habits as his patients grow. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience and knows how important it is to find and maintain a relationship that allows an early comfort level for you and your children.
Aileen Aileen
I was originally a patient of Pediatric Dentistry. As I grew and explored different career choices, the opportunity to work at this practice became available. Being already familiar with the office, dentists, and the staff, my decision was easy. Working here has allowed me to develop skills, build a career, and grow while sharing my experiences as a patient to help kids feel at ease.

I actually have a big family, so growing up I was always around kids. Working with children is a pleasure. I enjoy their company and helping them make better choices about their dental health. Our staff is knowledgeable and we all focus on educating the kids we care for. Many of our patients stay with us for years and they are like family.

After graduating from the College of San Mateo Dental Assisting Program, I chose to work in pediatric dentistry because I enjoy working with children and knew it would be a perfect fit for me. I love coming to work every day and making dental experiences fun and exciting for kids.
